Above the rooftops of Würzburg

Back in 2006, Noxum GmbH celebrated its tenth anniversary. In September 2007, it officially opened its new company premises. With its modern and functional offices, the innovative company now has sufficient space for company events and can accommodate its increasing numbers of staff.

Würzburg, October 13, 2007 - Noxum GmbH, the specialist for content management and editorial systems, has moved into its prestigious new offices on the penthouse floor of the Old University Printers building at Beethovenstraße 5 in Würzburg.

Noxum actually moved into its company offices at Beethovenstraße 5 in the Stürtz University Printers building in Würzburg back in 1998. The former industrial building dating back to around 1900 was redesigned and redeveloped as a service building. For Noxum GmbH, the opportunity to expand its business premises was very welcome indeed. After eleven successful years in business, Noxum had developed into an established company employing around 50 people and working with renowned customers such as Daimler AG, Koenig & Bauer AG, NürnbergMesse GmbH, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG and STIFTUNG WARENTEST.

A modular room-design concept was put in place. Noxum itself was largely responsible for planning the room layout and lighting as well as for selecting the materials used. An open staircase links the light, open-plan offices which are spread over two floors. Meetings and training sessions take place in modern rooms. The penthouse floor with its balcony along the entire facade and roof terrace offers a spacious ambience.

On September 14, 2007, Noxum along with the other companies in the building held a joint celebration with partners and friends. Dr. Pia Beckmann, the mayoress of Würzburg, gave the opening speech and described the building as a "famous name" in Würzburg. Her speech was followed by a number of other addresses concerning project and urban development.

Around 800 guests attended the ceremony in this historical industrial monument. They were impressed by the modern offices and their natural charm. The chic flair of the building, the special lighting installations, the buffet and live music and not least the mild, late-summer weather kept the guests partying on the roof terrace into the early hours of the morning.

An art exhibition also took place on the roof terrace and on the penthouse floor. Noxum had invited the Würzburg-based sculptor Harald Scherer to present his works of art in wood and stone.

Working environments are living environments too. They are important. They are places where ideas are created and innovative concepts are realized. Noxum has created a home for its business and a spacious working environment which will allow it to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
