TISAX® – uniform standard for information security in the automotive industry
IT and cyber security play a central role in the automotive industry. As a partner to renowned automotive manufacturers, Noxum's successful participation in the TISAX® assessment underscores its role as a reliable and secure service provider.
TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is an information security standard developed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). It is operated by the ENX Association and enables the mutual recognition of test results between participating companies along the entire supply chain.
ISO 27001 as the foundation, VDA ISA as the industry-specific standard
The assessment is based on the VDA Information Security Assessment (ISA) catalog, which has established itself as the industry standard for information security audits and is based on the international standard ISO/IEC 27001. While ISO 27001 provides the foundation for information security management systems, the VDA ISA supplements this approach with industry-specific requirements for the automotive industry – such as the protection of prototypes, cooperation in the supply chain, and data protection aspects. The TISAX® procedure also enables uniform testing and mutual recognition of the results.
TISAX® Audit Level 2 – High protection requirements for confidential information
The current TISAX® assessment was conducted by an independent auditor and confirms the effectiveness of the established security processes at Noxum GmbH. The audit includes an evaluation of the protective measures taken in terms of plausibility and completeness and was carried out remotely.
The scope ID for Noxum is SV92HR, and the assessment ID is A54X68-2. The result is available via the ENX portal and remains valid for three years. As TISAX® results contain confidential information, they are not publicly available.
