Noxum Publishing Studio – More Stability and Speed in Editorial Work
Recent updates streamline core workflows and simplify daily work with the content management system.
Noxum GmbH has further developed Noxum Publishing Studio with several updates. Editors benefit from greater stability, faster workflows, and clearer handling of the editors. The updates show how the system's quality is continuously being improved.
Würzburg, August, 06, 2026 – Noxum GmbH, a specialist in content management and editorial systems, is releasing several updates for Noxum Publishing Studio. They ensure a more stable and more efficient working day in the editorial department.
More stability in everyday work
Noxum XE now runs significantly faster, more smoothly, and without unexpected interruptions when handling extensive XML documents. The context menu in the tree editor, the deletion of preceding text elements, and the display during scrolling are now also more stable. As a result, editors can focus more on their actual task without being pulled out of their workflow.
Faster processes for extensive data
Several points have been improved in the background:
- Faster opening and processing of objects, especially for objects that have not yet been cached
- A smoother workflow for extensive datasets thanks to faster batch processing and a clearer display of characteristic groups
- An enhanced translation overview that can now be generated more easily in additional formats such as PDF, in addition to HTML (US 114864)
Clearer handling of the editors
A common problem with XML editors occurs when working without tag view, because it is often difficult to tell whether the cursor is positioned before or after an element. Noxum has improved usability in this area, so editors can now easily capture their content even without tag view and insert text precisely before or after inline objects. Referenced objects can also be opened directly by clicking on their name. This simplifies daily work with referenced content and ensures more consistent editing.
Protection against data loss when saving has also been improved: if a schema error occurs in the editor, the edits are retained. In the datasheet editor, repeatedly removing and re-adding the same characteristic is now also supported.
Improved integration with external systems
Collaboration with external systems has been strengthened. The Noxum Access Control Services now work more reliably, both for AppHub requests and for adopting user information via the SCIM interface. Data exchange via translation formats has been extended, for example when importing files with special characters and in the COTI overview. Deleted resources will now be visible in object lists going forward.
