iiRDS or Some Other Standard? This is not the question.

“iiRDS or Some Other Standard? This is not the question.” - das ist der Titel des Noxum Beitrag im iiRDS Cafe auf der tekom Jahrestagung.

Würzburg, 18. Oktober 2019 – Die Noxum GmbH, Spezialist für Content Management und Redaktionssysteme, ist Gründungsmitglied des tekom iiRDS Konsortium und in der Steering Group vertreten.

Das iiRDS-Konsortium löste im Januar 2018 die tekom Arbeitsgruppe Information 4.0 ab und befasst sich seitdem mit der Weiterentwicklung des Standards iiRDS. Im Rahmen der tekom-Jahrestagung findet das iiRDS-Café statt.

Auf dem Plakat im iiRDS-Café hat unser iiRDS-Experte, Florian Ziche/ Noxum GmbH, folgende Thesen aufgestellt:

• In the future, technical documentation and product information will have to conform to a multitude of different industry standards.  
• Some of them are out there, some are in the making, others will arise. Content providers must prepare for known and not-yet-known standards challenges.
• A solid iiRDS infrastructure will greatly ease the implementation of other upcoming standards, given its robust definition, compact core and radical extensibility.
• The comprehensive mapping to VDI2770 showcases iiRDS’s role as a gateway to other industry standards (and underlines the iiRDS Consortium’s commitment to facilitate and encourage such developments).

Das Noxum Team freut sich auf die Gespräche mit den Besuchern im iiRDS Café, am Noxum Stand und in den Vorträgen in der Arena Lernmedien und Serviceinformation.
