Noxum in the top group with its exhibition planner app in innovation prize for IT

Mobile exhibition preparation even during the journey there? - That is possible: With the Noxum exhibition planning app, smartphone users can put together their own personal fair program, find exhibitors and professional offers and obtain program information. Relevant information is made available to the users personalized and up-to-date on the smartphone on the spot. The jury of the IT Innovation Prize of the SME Initiative recognized the innovative strength and value of the Noxum exhibition planning app and awarded Noxum a prize under the BEST OF 2012 in the category "Apps".

Würzburg, April 26, 2012 – The SME Initiative has awarded Noxum GmbH, a specialist for content management and editing systems, the distinction BEST OF 2012 in the category "Apps". The award-winning product especially convinced the jury and belongs to the top group from over 2,500 submitted contestants for the IT Innovation Prize. The decisive factors for the expert jury were the innovative strength and above all the high value for the mid-tier.

Exhibition service providers can offer an exhibition information service especially for the iPhone users. This mobile offering gives fair visitors the possibility of orienting themselves for the fair, to find exhibitors by company name or specialty realm and to read the most important information about the supporting program. Beyond this the app contains useful information about arrivals and departures. An integrated database permits users to find exhibitors and events even in offline mode.

If the user is online the details about exhibitors and the supporting program are automatically updated. Exhibitor addresses and event appointments can be directly entered as contacts and calendar entries in the iPhone. Contact with colleagues or other interested persons can be made directly within the app. This way, for example, exhibitor contact data, images and notes can be directly sent by e-mail.

Exhibition providers thereby profit from a contemporary provision and presentation of exhibition information in an app. Exhibition visitors can prepare their personal fair program while travelling there and profit from the fact that all their information is available on their device underway - also offline.

The special benefit of the app for exhibition visitors and exhibition providers was recognized by the jury for SME Initiative: the 100 jurors of the IT Innovation Prize tested and rated the submitted products for innovation content, user-friendly handling, as well as market maturity and SME suitability. Market maturity and SME suitability are also shown by their productive employment by the customer: the Noxum exhibition planning app is being successfully used by multiple exhibitions of the NürnbergMesse.

The goal of the SME Initiative is the promotion of the communication of mid-tier businesses by strong and demand-actuated involvement of all solutions providers in the information transfer of the SMEs.
