New product: Noxum's document reviewer
Rapid, effective review procedures linked to editorial processes are now possible. The document reviewer allows data from the Noxum Publishing Studio to be visualized in a review document on a customer-specific basis. The data are prepared in an intermediate format and are then exported from the Noxum Publishing Studio.
The review document is linked to its CMS content module, i.e. the module can be called up directly from the review document. As a result, searches and research are no longer necessary and a great deal of time is saved during review processes.
Series of events: Noxum - international product communication with tools from Adobe, Across and Noxum
Noxum, together with Adobe and Across, will be taking part in a number of day-long partner events. During its presentation entitled "Think globally, communicate multilingually – interfaces and processes for generating documents in a number of languages", Noxum will be showcasing content management supported translation and publishing processes for Adobe® InDesign® and Adobe® FrameMaker®. XML is the optimum basis when it comes to coupling translation memory systems and publishing tools.
Event dates: 17.4.2008 in Frankfurt/Main, 22.4.2008 in Munich, 7.5.2008 in Hamburg
Specialist article: Data, information, content and services are coming together, published in DOK.magazin, September 2007
In addition to classical application areas such as merchandise management, human resources or product planning, numerous software systems which store product information have been created in heterogeneous IT environments. These are used for a variety of purposes including generating, managing and distributing catalogs and data sheets, for Internet portals, order systems, partner Extranets etc. The growing number of communication channels, shortened product life cycles, greater numbers of product variants and not least expansion into international markets are responsible for this.
