We have used our know-how when it comes to developing and implementing content management and cross-media publishing systems for technical communication as a basis for the Noxum Publishing Studio Techdoc application profile. The system is pre-configured to allow immediate content and information management as well as the automated production of a range of documents including operating manuals, replacement-part catalogs, data sheets, repair manuals and help systems.
Components
The system features an XML-based content management system and is built around a DTD which is optimized for technical communication. It offers an integrated XML editor (Tomrad) and a straightforward, linear workflow system. Various publishers which allow the content entered to be published on the web, in printed form or in help systems are available.
